Take Off and BOQ Production

 

A Bill of Quantities listing all required materials and labour is drawn up as part of a construction tendering process by a quantity surveyor. In it, you can also find the contract's terms and conditions as well as listing the items for any contractors to price up.

 

Taking Off is a list of all elements and measurements involved in the building process analysed from the technical drawings or by computerised measuring systems and presented in tables as part of the BOQ.
